Show Notes - 01/27/2009


Tonight we spoke with an extremely interesting and informative gentleman, Egan Sanders. Egan is an intuitive counselor, coach, lecturer, teacher, event organizer and author. Assisting others with discovering tools to grow personally and spiritually is his passion. We spoke about some of the projects that he actively promotes as well as his book, The Magic Box. Egan will also return during Behind The Mike's 2012 Trilogy in April.

Later we spoke about Barack Obama's intentions with the Muslim nations and some of the things that he is doing out of the gate in his first 100 days in office including giving his first presidential interview to an Arabic TV network. Download the awesome episode and listen in.

On the BIG show we had a fantastic interview with the very talented Lionel de Bernard, Lead Vocalist/Guitarist of OldScool. We spoke about the band's beginnings, what is on tap for OldScool and his thoughts on peer-peer music sharing. We also heard some tracks from the CD Save Me From Myself.

Later, we covered other topics such as the problem with GPS systems, the planned closing of Guantanamo Bay holding facility, President Obama's new anti-terrorism approach and some isues with nasty social network users.

Behind The Mike Premieres on SRN One & TyneFM

Beginning Sunday January 18, 2009, the Behind The Mike Show will add to our list of syndicated networks the SRN One radio network in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

SRN One is a part of the Network 1KX group.

Behind The Mike will air locally there the same time it airs in the United States; Sundays & Tuesdays 9:00 PM EST.

Last week, Behind The Mike premiered on TyneFM in Newcastle, United Kingdom on Wednesdays at 2:00 AM / Tuesdays 9: 00 PM EST here in the states. Negotiations are under way for TyneFM to air some of the recent episodes of the program during Newcastle local time on weekday mornings.
