If you broadcast, they will come.....

We had a very special Behind The Mike and spoke all about baseball; OK so we talked a little football at the end, gosh! So we spend a little time talking to Tim Malcolm from PhiiliesNation.com as he reported to us right from the cusp of Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida. He gave us the report on the Philadelphia Phillies and his outlook for the 2009 season.

Then we spoke to Binghamtom Lefty Mike Antonini who is a hot prospect in the minors and looks to be coming up fast in the New York Mets system. He finished out the 2008 season with a 9-7 record and a 2.77 ERA. Mike has a great arm and has had some great training in college at GSU and beyond that. We're are watching this one as he climbs the ranks.

Finally, we spoke to Sports Author/Editor, Kevin Reichard who wrote The Complete Guide to Spring Training which is baseball's definitive guide for the ultimate Spring Training experience. He gave us the 411 on how much effort went into the book, a look at the 3rd Edition (due out next year) and the websites that started the whole project.

We also talked a little baseball news, listened to great soundbytes, Who's On First by Abbott & Costello and Garrison Kelleor's Caset At The Bat redux poem.
