Tonight on the program, we discussed various forms of alternate energy and fuels; including solar, geothermal, wind, hydrogen, ethanol (corn), hemp (Cannabis) and more.

Later, we spoke about DWD (Driving While Distracted) which includes speaking on the cell phone, playing with your iPod or the latest disaster waiting to happen...TEXTING. We spoke about a video PSA that we have right below the notes here that graphically displays the dangers of not paying attention to the road. Be smart, pay attention when driving.

Boating Safety Continued...

The fine gentlemen from the Dundalk Power Squadron (Brooks Riley & John Hall) joined us again to continue and complete the conversation on Boating Safety. Some of the items discussed were life jackets, training on flare use, training for "man overboard" situations, fire extinguishers, boating under the influence and some very disturbing statistics.

Later, Lady B and Joel talked about the fact that scientists are within months of creating artificial life and we started a conversation for next week on alternative fuels.

On his edition of Behind The Mike, we welcomed back to the show Samantha Gibb and her band, M.E.G. Music. It was a great hour as we featured some new music by the band, spoke about their online jam sessions and also talked about the movie that they made, A Nashville State of Mind. Samantha is a wonderful person and we enjoy having her on the broadcast as she is very entertaining and very talented. Visit M.E.G. Music's link below to find out more about the band and buy their music.

In the second hour we spoke on and tried to figure out this whole healthcare mess; it looks like the Democrats will take a small bow to announce victory on the H.R.3200 bill. We also spoke about the box office at the movies and spent a little TechTime on the hacker's romance with Twitter.

Fantastic show this night as we spoke with Mike Walker from the syndicated radio program, Saving The 70s. We found out about Mike's awesome career in radio and imagine this...he has been doing what he loves his entire life and nothing else. So we looked into how Saving The 70s came about and why he started such an awesome show and we put him and Sharen to the test with a "How well do you know the 70s" pop quiz; they passed.

Later we looked at the latest headlines in the news including government control, politics, Hugo Chavez violating freedom of speech in Venezuela, W speaks out and much more.
