Show Notes - 08/21/2011

Tonight on the show we began with a very interesting interview with author Gabriella van Rij and she wrote a book entitled "With All My Might". The book is based on her personal journey with dealing with cultural differences. Gabriella has sustained some truly paradigm shifts in her life that has caused her to deal with living in different cultures and dealing with and coming to terms with the statement, "It's OK to be different". You can find out more and order the book by visiting her website below.

Dave Bart who works for Swift Demolition and Recycling stopped by in the studio to discuss recycling on the community level. What we learned is that Dave has an additional message buried in that and that is we need to get back to the way things were in the 60s, 70s and even into the 80s when we were doing so much more recycling without realizing that we are doing it. If we can come together for community events then let's see how we can also as a community help each other and recycle as a community therefore helping the environment and getting back to know each other in person.

Kay Stout joined us on the Ideas For A Challenging Economy segment and spoke with Kris Rush, President & CEO of Rush Strategies LLC. They spoke about some of the positive trends and legislation in the Oklahoma area and how the economic changes in that area shows promise that the economy on a larger level in other US regions certainly can improve.

Have a question for our next show? Email us with it and we'll read it on the air and also comment/answer it for you as well.
