Show Notes - 11/27/2011

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Tonight on the Tech Support Sunday segment we talked about the proper way to clean your mouse and keyboard without damaging them. Listen in and get the details to make sure it is clean and sanitized. Also we spoke about upgrading RAM and how to recognize that RAM is normally installed in pairs plus how to adjust your Virtual RAM settings:

Formula is 1.5 x RAM = Maximum Paging Size

Click Start, click Run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
Click the Advanced tab, and then under Performance click Settings.
Click the Advanced tab, and then under Virtual memory click Change.
Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
Under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type a new paging file size in megabytes (MB) in the Initial size (MB) or Maximum size (MB) box, and then click Set.
Click OK to close the dialog box and apply changes.

Later we discussed how you should discuss Santa Claus as your children grow older. Perhaps when you wrap toys you put 2-3 from Santa and the rest from yourselves. Children should always hold in their hearts that Santa is a part of Christmas.

Then Joel tore into the people who hide behind social media and bash the Occupy Movement. Try coming out from behind the keyboard and get involved in the political process.

Have a question for our next show? Email us with it and we'll read it on the air and also comment/answer it for you as well.
