HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!
THANK A SOLDIER/VET!

Tonight on the show, we had our monthly segment on FREE PC SUPPORT and we discussed systematic backups vs image backups and some questions and answers about choosing between both. We also talked about a few other points like Joel's quick list of housekeeping tips before getting into it with your new computer, password security and more.

We also interviewed the PETREL Sisters, a sister rock/pop group who are making major strides in the music industry and we featured their hit single, BOMBSHELL. Check out the links below to find out more about the sisters and buy the single.

Later we interviewed John Cruz, he wrote a book titled, "World Banking World Fraud". The book chronicles his whistle-blowing of HSBC Bank which he learned while working there that they were involved in a massive money-laundering scheme using identities of people who bank with them. A great book and we learned some great tips about protecting ourselves, so grab the book and check him out.

National Safe Boating Week
May 19 - May 25, 2012

Welcome to the broadcast as we kick off National Safe Boating Week by speaking with members of the Dundalk Power Squadron, a part of the United States Power Squadrons. Present for the show were Past Commander John Hall, Past Commander Brooks Riley, Past Commander Bernie Karpers and Lieutenant & Licensed Captain Tony Solesky. One of the items that we spent a considerable amount of time on is life vests and the fact that many people do not wear them. We also discussed some reasons why they could not be mandated into law. Also, in a slightly different spin, the gang spent some time this year discussing some of the more fun moments in boating. Be sure to visit the websites below to learn more and get information on the United States Power Squadrons.

Staggering statistic: in Maryland alone there are 200,000 registered boats. If you put an average of 5 boaters per craft, there are about 1 Million people on the waters on any given weekend.

Later, Kay Stout spent some time interviewing Matt Crevin about his book, Get in the Game: The Ultimate Game Plan For Transition From College To Career. The book is a very helpful resource for individuals who want to transition into a career with sports in one of the many various behind the scenes jobs that are available. Find out more about Matt and get the book using the links below.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

Greetings and welcome to another full and exciting episode of Behind The Mike. Tonight, Brock LaRobb rode shotgun as we spoke to Les Rayburn, Political Realist and decorated 35 year veteran of the US Army having served in every major war since Vietnam. Les scraped the tip of the iceberg with us as it relates to our privacy and we talked about how the US Constitution and our rights are being dismantled right in front of our eyes. The major take-away point from this...Americans, unfortunately, do not care.

Later on the program, we spoke with Chris Lucas, CEO of The Actor's Detective. He talked about his book, Guide To Writing to Celebrities in which he shares a lot of knowledge that you need to get responses from celebrities. The book is an easy read and it reads very fast as it is hard to put down once you dive in. Check the links, meet Chris, get the book!

First off.... Happy Cinco Di Mayo weekend to everyone! We hope you had a safe one! Tonight Joel had the night off so Tony Richards sat in along with guest Jack Hosley from Wander radio. Jack has done a number of radio dramas and a lot more on his own site Wander Radio where each of his sixty five episodes are unique. Tonight in the first hour, jack and Tony spoke with Shayfer James, a pianist who has a unique way of taking words and stories you see in print and translates them into audio musical works. See the links section below for some ways to check out, sample and buy his works. Then, later in Hour 2, we spoke to Julie Hoverson and the crew of the Audio Drama "Fatal Girl" about her job as writer/director plus we also got to talk to some members of the cast and asked them how working on an audio drama differs from an on stage adaptation and a lot more!
