Show Notes - 03/17/2013

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Welcome to Behind The Mike! Topics/Guests for tonight's show:

Tonight on the show we were joined by Ida Byrd-Hill, a futurist, and author who thrives on innovation, invention, idea incubation  and the development of financially prosperous companies and communities. She spoke to us about some of the problems in education and how it stifles the lives of inner city youth and some things that can be done to radically change it. She authored the book, "Corporate Gangster - Tapping the entrepreneurial talent of street hustlers". Learn more about her and her projects on her website http://www.upliftinc.org.

Kay Stout appeared for the monthly segment "Ideas For A Challenging Economy" and we spoke to her (or she spoke to us about) work ethic in today's youth; or lack thereof. We're not exactly sure where the problem stems from and we investigated a few possibilities but Kay will reseach it more and we will expand on this issue next month when she returns. Contact Kay at http://www.KayStout.net.

Have a question for our next show? Email us with it and we'll read it on the air and also comment/answer it for you as well.
